Born and raised in Baytown, Texas, Zayfromthebay discovered his love for music at a young age. When he was in high school, as a sophomore, he began to write poetry. Over the course of the next two years, he dedicated himself to honing his craft. He put countless hours into the creation of his sound. Today, he continues to push boundaries every day. Throughout his music career, he has faced many obstacles, but he is always striving for greater things. He is the originator of the rise and grind movement. He continues to inspire someone every day and God rises internally no doubt. He opened for some of the biggest names in the music industry like Z-Ro, Bali Baby, and Little Debbie.
